By accessing or using AskTheOther.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Service Description

AskTheOther.ai is a pass-through proxy service that connects Claude Desktop to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini, and Perplexity). The Service acts as a secure intermediary, routing requests from Claude Desktop to these providers and returning responses directly to you.

We do not store, log, or retain your prompts, queries, responses, or any conversation data.

Third-Party Services

Your use of the Service involves third-party LLM providers. Your data is subject to their privacy policies:

• OpenAI Privacy Policy
• Google Privacy Policy
• Perplexity Privacy Policy

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data will be processed by these third-party providers according to their respective privacy policies.

Pricing and Billing

The Service operates on a usage-based pricing model:

• First 5 requests: Free
• After that: $0.30 per comparison (ChatGPT + Gemini + Perplexity)
• No subscription: You only pay when you use the service

All payments are processed through Stripe. Payment terms are governed by Stripe's Terms of Service.

Data Retention

We do not retain conversation data. We only store usage counts (number of requests, not content) for billing purposes. You can delete your account at any time, which will remove all associated data.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

AskTheOther.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or content of responses from third-party LLM providers. You use the Service at your own risk.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
